Bayside park is a great little spot in Colchester to have a picnic, go swimming, grab a creamie across the street, you name it. I'm not sure if it's the same park but across the street is tennis, basketball, a skate park, and hiking trails. This is a great place to spend some time in summer with the family! Parking is to be found across the street as well.
Great rates, excellent equipment and a perfect location
No fancy rental facility... it is a trailer with paddleboards, kayaks, pedal boats and such available for rental. Beach is nice with free parking and bath house.

Amazing view. Picnic tables and bathrooms, although they were closed when I went. Park across the street and then cross. Nice swimming area albeit not too big. Couple of places to eat walking distance including a food truck. I used the port-a-potty next to them when I had to go.
