It absolutely appeared that daytime duties were not completed as other guests were having the same issues as we were.
The Motel 6 Burlington-Colchester VT was very clean and very quiet. It would have been nice to have a box of Kleenex in the bathroom, and a hairdryer, as I didn't bring one. But for the price, I could run over to CVS or Shaw's for Kleenex I guess. The staff were very nice and very efficient. If you just need a place to sleep and shower to hit the road again in the morning, this place is great.
Your location is so convenient. We enjoyed our stay very much. From check in to check out. We were greeted with smiles. The fact that our dog could stay with us was a blessing for all. The motel accommodated our request for the first floor so when she had to go, we went right out and took care of business. I highly recommend Motel 6 in Colchester.
I did not get her name but one person for the overnight front desk to take care of the needs of guests is unreasonable. That young lady did the best that she could and should be rewarded for giving it all her best effort.
You do have good workers.
Room was clean and everything functioned as it should. The mattress however was the worst. Linier springs. I could feel everyone. There was no support. I sunk down into the bed. Needless to say not my first choice of places to stay. But the price was right and it was an unplanned stay during a snow/ice storm.
One of the more affordable options in the Burlington, VT area. The building seemed pretty new. As with most of Motel 6, the rooms are basic but do the job. This particular one seemed updated, was clean, and everything worked. The front desk person was very friendly. The location is a few miles from the main attractions near the Burlington waterfront and restaurant area which is not a problem if you are driving which most people who end up at a Motel 6 are doing anyway. There is a Burger King next door if you want to grab breakfast or a quick bite. There's also an old time diner across the road which we didn't try. The location is right next to an I-89 exit making it convenient to access from and to the highway. All in all, this location worked out fine for our one night stay over in Burlington.
The gentleman that we met in the AM was fabulous. He was so personable and helpful at the time of our departure.
