Bright and clean motel. Spacious room, comfortable king bed. Huge flat screen television not to mention a view of the 4 screen drive in movie theaters next door. And you can time in the sound from clock radio in the room. Themed room tasteful not tacky. Audrey Hepburn room sweet movie posters and a little history. Very reasonable price. Highly recommended.
This is a really cute little hotel built in the classic motel style, but of entirely new construction. Each room has a classic actor theme which adds to the charm. It's a bit out of the way from Burlington, but has a lot of accessible nature areas nearby. I would have given it 5 stars, but the shared walls are a bit too thin, and we could hear the neighbor's child carrying on until almost 11pm.
Very very friendly staff. Very clean room with good cable service, do not disturb mode in the room, two sets of shades for medium and complete darkness, all kinds of toiletries, towels. A nice gazebo for smoking, parking in front of the house etc. Definitely definitely worth it. A good bit of personal touch with a different celebrity special in each room.
The inn was beautiful, very clean and new. It was right outside of Burlington and was close to some nice restaurants. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone.
Next time you're in Burlington, stay somewhere else.
Except we never got the items, and we never got a phone call telling us what had happened. We've called repeatedly and the best explanation we've gotten is that the "Post Office must have lost them." Each time we have called, it seems we have had to remind them of the problem They can provide us with no tracking number. There is no transaction on our credit card. And, they claim that they did not insure the package. When asked what we can do, their reply has been essentially "nothing." So we are SOL and they seem indifferent.
While the stay in the room was adequate (hardly five star, as their rating would indicate), the owners' responses to a problem were deeply disturbing. Here's what happened. We accidentally left two things in our room when we checked out. Discovering this a few days later, we called to ask if the items had been found. The owner said that they had. "I have them right here" were his exact words. We asked them to send the items, and he asked for our credit card information. It all seemed rather minor and correctable.
